Weight Management

Food is a necessity for our survival. How we maintain our weight, relates to each of us as individuals and our attitude towards food. We know that Weight Management is a healthy balance of  ‘How much we eat’ and ‘How much exercise we do’ but for some of us controlling this balance is a challenge.

How we look at food and what we eat doesn’t just come down to the psychological aspect of a negative body image, although weight gain and eating disorders are often, but not always, associated with this. It can stem from old patterns of behaviour that we are unable to rewire or control, when we were young, carrying these behaviour patterns with us into our adult lives. Or through a comfort response, a coping mechanism to alleviate loneliness, low mood, anxiety or to deal with a stress trigger such as a bereavement.

Through our trance work, we can gain access to the subconscious mind and move filters out of the way, allowing the brain to become more relaxed and open to new suggestions of change. This helps us to gain control over our eating habits and making loosing weight and managing our weight, a new healthy way of life.
